We do not sell anything
Networking Signal is a free publication. We do not run a shop, we do not sell hardware or software, we have no premium tier, no subscriptions and no paid downloads. Every article and every tool on this site is free to use and always has been.
Because we never take a payment from you, there is nothing for us to refund and nothing for you to return to us. That is the whole of our position, and this page exists only so that nobody has to guess.
Products bought through our links
Many of our buying guides link to retailers, mostly Amazon, and some of those links earn us a commission. Read the affiliate disclosure for how that works.
When you follow one of those links and buy something, the purchase is between you and that retailer. We are not the seller, we never handle your payment, we never see your card details and we never see your order. That means:
- Returns are handled by the retailer, under the retailer’s own policy and time limits. For Amazon that is the returns section of your Amazon account.
- Refunds come from the retailer, to the payment method you used with them.
- Warranty claims go to the retailer or the manufacturer, depending on the product and how long you have owned it.
- We cannot cancel, change, track or refund an order, because we have no access to it.
Please check the return window and the condition requirements on the retailer’s own page before you buy. They vary by product and by country, and networking hardware that has been registered or activated is sometimes treated differently from an unopened box.
If a recommendation was wrong
We cannot refund you, but we do want to know. If a product we recommended turned out to be the wrong call, or an article contained an error that led you to buy the wrong thing, email [email protected] with the article link and what happened.
We take this seriously. A recommendation that does not hold up gets corrected or removed, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing. Our editorial policy sets out how we handle corrections.
Changes to this page
If Networking Signal ever does start selling something directly, this page will be replaced with a real returns and refunds policy before that happens, and the date at the top will show it. Until then, the position above is complete and current.
